Education and Training

CPEUM contributes significantly to training young researchers and highly qualified research personnel in the field of landscape and land-use planning. It does so through the supervision of masters’ theses and doctoral dissertations, and through sustained student participation in research activities with the partners.

The College of research assistants was populated primarily through graduate programs in the Faculty of Environmental Design at the University of Montreal. CPEUM’s commitment to developing landscape and land-use planning expertise also benefits society; many of its graduates will find key positions within the public sector in particular (e.g. ministries, municipalities). CPEUM also benefits by offering young scientists the opportunity to pursue their research activities as research agents.

The teaching is ensured by the CPEUM's professors, researchers and research agents.
